RTC - Providing Transportation That Works!
RTC Community Employment Transportation provides transportation for work and day programs. If you are eligible for services from the Logan County Board of DD or the Champaign County Board of DD, you are eligible to receive these transportation services. Please contact your SSA for more information.
RTC Community Employment Transportation also provides affordable transportation to and from work for individuals with any type of disability who live within Logan County. This is for individuals who are not eligible for services from the local County Board of Developmental Disabilities. See fares below:
$2.00 per trip within Logan County
Must be a resident of Logan County
Must have a documented disability
Work site must be located in Logan County
How Does it Work?
Trips must be scheduled at least 2 days in advance with RTC's Transportation Supervisor. If you are working with RTC Employment Services staff (job developer, job coach, or employment specialist), initial transportation services should be scheduled through them. If you are not working directly with RTC Employment Services staff, transportation requests should be directed to the Transportation Supervisor.
RTC uses a coupon system to pay for trips. You must purchase a coupon before using RTC's CE Transportation. Coupons are good for 10 rides. Drivers will punch out the amount you use each time you ride with RTC. Coupons can be purchased at the RTC Employment Services office at 334 E. Columbus Ave., at RTC Industries on the corner of State Route 47 and County Road 32, or by contacting the Transportation Supervisor at 937-539-2069.
If you are not already receiving services from RTC, you will need to provide documentation of your disability and complete all necessary paperwork to be eligible for CE Transportation.
